The Formula
The core conversion from hourly to annual salary:
Example: $25/hr × 40 hrs × 52 weeks = $52,000/year
Monthly = Annual ÷ 12
Biweekly = Annual ÷ 26
Weekly = Hourly × Hours per Week
Daily = Weekly ÷ 5
For overtime: OT Pay = Base Rate × OT Multiplier × OT Hours. The FLSA requires 1.5x pay for non-exempt employees working over 40 hours per week. Some states (e.g., California) also have daily overtime rules.
Example
Alex — Warehouse Worker, 28, Houston TX
Alex earns $22/hr with 10 hours of overtime per week at 1.5x. Works 52 weeks per year. Files single in Texas (no state income tax).

With Overtime tab
Alex's overtime adds $17,160/year to base pay. Under OBBBA, up to $12,500 of that overtime income is tax-free through 2028.
