About sum.money
sum.money is a free financial calculator platform built for real financial decisions — not toy demos.
What we do
We build calculators that reflect how financial products actually work in each country. A US mortgage calculator knows about PMI, property tax escrow, and 30-year fixed rates. A German Hypothekenrechner handles Zinsbindung and Sondertilgung. A Russian ипотека calculator includes маткапитал. These aren't translations — they're different financial products built from scratch.
How it works
- 100% client-side. Every calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
- No registration. No accounts, no sign-ups, no email collection.
- No cookies. We don't track you. We don't use analytics. We don't fingerprint your browser.
- Shareable URLs. Click "Share" and your exact scenario is encoded in the URL. Send it to your advisor, spouse, or friend.
- Embeddable. Every calculator has an embed code. Put it on your blog or course for free.
Markets
sum.money currently covers four markets:
- United States — mortgages, taxes, retirement, student loans, insurance, and more
- United Kingdom — mortgages, stamp duty, income tax, pensions, student loans, VAT
- Deutschland — Hypothek, Einkommensteuer, Gehalt, Kredit, Elterngeld, Kaufnebenkosten
